About the Company
University Pipeline Inc. is a collegiate marketing firm that works closely with college student groups to run marketing campaigns at campuses nationwide. Students at these campuses made it clear to us that they often need to communicate simply, quickly and securely with their members - email and phone calls just are not enough.
A team of three University Pipeline employees came together in early 2007 to create tXtBlaster, which is now one of the most popular communication tools used by college student organizations in the U.S. In September, 2008, tXtBlaster branched out to serve not just college groups, but any group that would like to improve its efficiency and communication. Why tXtBlaster
No one else gives you the functionality and features provided by tXtBlaster. tXtBlaster provides a tXting service specifically designed for groups with one goal in mind – to make it as quick and easy as possible to get 1 message to a group of people at the same time. Members can belong to and create as many groups and subgroups as they want, and they can use an unlimited number of keywords and messages at no cost other than the cost of sending a single tXt from their cell phone – unless the tXt is sent from the website, which counts as 0 messages for the publisher. Groups may also appoint multiple administrators and publishers, and can send, receive, and reply to messages anytime from their cell phone.
And, at the risk of repeating ourselves, tXtBlaster and all its features are completely free. Members never receive unsolicited messages and tXtBlaster never shares your private information.
How It's Free
In order to provide tXtBlaster and all its features for free, we insert a short advertisement at the bottom of tXt messages sent through our BLAST code. The tXtBlaster team is extremely selective when approving advertisers, and ads are short, well-targeted, and non-offensive. Members never receive SPAM from tXtBlaster, and personal information is never shared.
